CFA

Начнём с CFA. CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) – сертификат, который предназначен для тех, кто желает строить карьеру в сфере инвестиций и финансового анализа — банковские аналитики, фондовые аналитики, а также работники страховых.

Программа экзамена CFA охватывает большое количество дисциплин: от профессиональной этики до макроэкономики и самого финансового анализа.

Всего существует 3 уровня экзамена:

— Сдача 1-го уровня CFA происходит 2 раза в год, в декабре и июне, последующие 2 уровня — только 1 раз в год. Успешно сдать экзамен удается очень малому количеству людей — примерно половине, остальные же идут дальше готовится, чтобы сдать по второму кругу

— Самостоятельная подготовка к экзамену может занять довольно длительное время — до 350 часов, гораздо проще с этим у студентов SF Education, полный цикл подготовки которых занимает всего 280 часов совместно с опытными преподавателями.

— Для того, чтобы быть допущенным к сдаче экзамена CFA 1 уровня необходимы: опыт работы от 4 лет, либо такой же срок обучения (бакалавриат), или комбинация обучения и опыта работы в размере 4 лет, а также определенная сумма денег, размер которой зависит от, того, когда вы записываетесь на экзамен (чем раньше, тем лучше). Проще говоря, если вы находитесь на последнем курсе бакалавриата, вы можете записываться на первый уровень!

ACCA

Сертификат ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) – выбор множества аудиторов, бухгалтеров, топ-менеджеров, а также консультантов по МСФО.

Вся программа экзамена предполагает, что сдающий углубленно изучает и владеет финансовым учетом, знаниями отчетности МСФО, налогообложением, правом и аудитом.

Для начала получения полной степени ACCA необходимо иметь диплом о среднем профессиональном образовании, либо же закончить 1 курс вуза. Всего ступеней ACCA 14, 2 из них (начальные) можно сдавать на русском языке, оставшиеся 12 ступеней экзамена проходят на английском языке.

Также часть экзаменов можно закрыть с помощью диплома, если ваша специальность подходит под это, что выяснить несложно либо в своем ВУЗе, либо написав в АССА.

Ещё вам закроют некоторые темы, если у вас имеется единый аттестат аудитора. В среднем для закрытия всех уровней люди тратят 3-4 года, не отрываясь от основной работы, что удобно!

CIMA

Квалификация CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) – это британский сертификат для тех, кто имеет желание стать управленцем высшего звена, финансовым директором или владельцем собственного бизнеса.

В отличие от программ, описанных выше, для получения этого сертификата необходимы знания в области управления, стратегического планирования и выстраивания бизнес-процессов.

Считается, что CIMA больше всего признается в Великобритании и её бывших колониях (члены британского содружества). Также отличительной чертой является то, что все экзамены включают в себя решение кейсов, а значит имеют более прикладное направление.

Для получения квалификации необходимо успешно сдать 12 экзаменов, если у вас есть диплом, и 17 — если его нет. Первичная регистрация на экзамен составит 265 фунтов, дополнительные попытки сдачи обойдутся 110 фунтов.

You will need to complete 13 papers in total. A maximum of nine papers in the Fundamentals level are available for exemption.

The exams have to be taken in the following order:

Studying for the ACCA Qualification

In order to become an ACCA it is necessary to pass 13 examinations (although if you have any accountancy or business related degree from university you are ly to be exempt from some of the examinations).
You can study in any way you – you can attend courses, study at home with books, or study on-line.

The exams are held 4 times a year – in March, June, September and in December – and at each sitting you can attempt as many exams as you (up to a maximum of 4 at one sitting), or no exams at all! However, you must complete all the exams within a period of ten years.
Exams are held in almost all countries throughout the world.

The only compulsory costs are those payable to the ACCA. They charge a registration fee, an annual subscription while you are a student, and an exam fee each time you take an examination. These costs do not cover the cost of studying for the exams. This depends on how you choose to study.

Students can appear in paper-based exam for above papers in March, June, September and December. The papers F 1 to F4 can also be attempted as Computer-based Exam in any month of the year. Computer-based Exam has objective type question. Paper-based exam has both objective as well as descriptive questions. The time allowed for each paper is reflected in the above table.

   How to study ACCA – Admission Procedure

  • ACCA is administered by ACCA, UK.
  • ACCA exams are conducted by ACCA, UK.
  • Colleges in various cities offer ACCA qualification. They teach subjects of ACCA according to the plan and syllabus directed by ACCA, UK.
  • You must visit a nearest college offering ACCA qualification.
  • Fill in the registration form to get admission in the college as well as for registration with ACCA, UK.

   Flexibility in ACCA Program

ACCA qualification is a very flexible program. You have full control over the speed of your program. You can choose up to 4 papers in one exam.

You can attempt first three papers either as paper-based examination or computer-based exam depending on your choice. The remaining papers are to be attempted as paper-based exam.

You can choose to sit in paper-based exam in March, June, September and December.  Computer-based exam can be attempted in any month of the year.

Students seeking admission in ACCA are given exemption from some papers of ACCA depending upon their previous qualification if it is relevant to ACCA such as MBA, M.Com and so on. Exemptions of up to nine papers are available to students depending upon the relevant of student’s previous qualifications to subject matter of ACCA.

Students having ‘Foundation Diploma’ are exempted from first three papers of ACCA.

The students eligible for exemptions have to apply for exemptions and pay the exemption fee.

   Exam Dates

The paper-based exams are held in March, June, September and December. The computer-based exams are held every month of the year.

Minimum duration for ACCA is 2 years. Maximum duration of the program depends upon the performance of the student in ACCA.

There are two ways to sit your ACCA exam: paper-based or computer-based. The application and registration processes differ for these two exam methods, so please read the sections below carefully.

The benefits of a computer-based examination:

  • flexibility – exams are held once a month (compared to twice a year for the paper-based exam) and there are no restrictions on the number of times you can re-sit the exam
  • instant feedback – your result is displayed on the computer screen at the end of the exam
  • results – your results are uploaded by British Council and will be transferred to your ACCA account within 72 hours.

Registration

You must register directly with ACCA once you have confirmed your membership with them.

Payment and results

Payment can be made via debit or credit card on the My ACCA portal. Your results will also be available on this portal.

Registration closes one week before the test date and can be done at any of our offices.

Venue information will be provided five days before each exam date.

The fee for each level (F1, F2, F3, Introductory, Intermediate, MMA and MFA) is NGN36,666 while the fee for F4 is NGN 49,397.25

Results

You will receive your results immediately on completion of the exam.

Please bring the following with you to your exam session:

  • membership card or identification such as a valid international passport or national ID card
  • exam docket
  • pens and pencils in a clear plastic bag
  • basic calculator

No electronic devices, e.g. mobile phones, are allowed to be taken into exams.

If you have any questions, please contact the exams team for more information.

Candidates are required to present the following documents in order to sit the examination:

Failure to present valid ID documentation will result in the candidate not being allowed to sit the examination.
